Where in hell was this intervention four weeks ago? From working in healthcare, I am very used to emergency plans. We have a plan for everything, and are very prepared to deal with whatever may happen. It seems like there is NOTHING of this fashion for deep sea drilling. They operate by the "If we have a disaster we will take a month or more to address it" doctrine. Very low level of preparedness does BP have.

I wouldn't be surprised. Sometimes the stuff the gov't does openly is about as ridiculous.
