I don't know why, but that just crossed my mind as I hitched up the boat. I don't mean onto Lake Michigan, but Silver Lake.

Thanks.

Yes, there is one right at the State park camp grounds.
There are also a few docks there, since it will be during the week we can probably use one for a while if needed.

Exactly, across the street from where we will be. Just past the camp office.

Silver Lake St. Park
No parking available (ie better have somewhere to park your truck/trailer)
what do you mean there no parking? theres a lot next to the launch and another overflow lot out back of the south campground

and dont tell me I am full of shit either, I am a campground host there

all you need is the daily parking permit or the annual

If you read the link it says no parking, if you read further into it it basically says that there is parking for those using the campsite but not specifically for boaters to drop their boats.

I haven't been to that particular camp site in about 5-7 years and I vaguely remember a dirt boat launch and not much in the way of parking.

I'm going off the DNR PDF I posted more so then memory just as a heads up.

Full of shit all you want, I went by the chart, which we all know can be wrong.

Next time I won't provide a link, nor a handy reference, nor the information on said link, I'll just wait for you to chime in.
