Got the back end finished up. Moved it back to start working on the 3 link up front.

wasn't sure about welding the the diff, so I decided to use some plates and U bolts and weld lower links to those. Not sure how well they'll work, but I figured it was worth a shot? Why bolt on lower links?
I do too, I just need to keep working on it :nana:I like it.
Still need to hang my steering box and see how the track bar and drag link work out in the front, mount bump stops in the front. Suspension is done other than that. Started working on the fuel cell mount and rear of the tub, progress has slowed due to funding and enjoying summer.opcorn:
Any new progress?
My 48 is officially on the road... I may need to do a drive by one of these days.
FWIW, I've got standard hardware store fine thread 6 point hex bolts in mine and they work just fine.

As much as I love the looks of this thing, I think I might have to sell or part out the kernel to get a family friendly rig. Was sitting in my new workshop last night pondering things and didn't want to have to choose who I took out for a ride in the future. I will not have enough time to give to justify having multiple wheeling rigs, so something's gotta give.
