I have a problem and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas. when i put my truck in r or d it takes like 3 seconds b 4 u can feel it go into gear. let me knoe if u have any good ideas

Get some NOS in a can at the gas station, put it in the fuel. After that it will have enough power and will accelerate without hesitation.

Well it is you who broke.

We have 01 F250 with 300,000 miles original engine and transmission. We don't shift in gear while it moving that what you fuck your transmission by not complete stop before shift.

Check fluid if it low on it.

Take a can of starting fluid....inhale deeply. All your problems will be over.

Sounds possibly like low line pressure. You can hook a pressure tester to a test port in the side of the transmission and look at the readings and check every gear. Possibly due to a bad pump seal. The pumps themselves rarely go bad.
