have some issues trying to remove the caps on the drive shaft on my s10 blazer. u joint is out just cant get the caps free... dont have torches or air tools here. any ideas? i dont have a car to drive to take it anywhere eaither. its my only ride right now. need to get them out ASAP. anyone?

I'm confused.
You can't get the caps off of the u-joint or you can't get the u-joing out of the driveshaft?

If the caps won't come off of the u-joint, you may want to replace it..

are you sure that there is not any clips holding the caps in? Or just get the right size socket and soak it in break free let it set a little then tap away till it breaks free. I am assuming that you mean that the caps are stuck in the yoke right?
