Is there a way to do such a thing yet?

I see some ads in Best Buy, but I'm not sure if that only works with internal computer configuration equipment, or if there's an option for me using my Windows or Mac computer...

Isn't that the main point of that new Windows 7 commercial? Project from PC to something else wirelessly?
I just saw that commercial last night and googled it. I couldn't find shit aside from using the PS3 or the 360.

I'll just have to stick to porn on a 14" screen. :(

Does it say Wireless in the commercial? There is a good chance they just made the Interface for multiple Monitors a bit more user friendly if not. Most people are surprised when they find out they can have two monitors. It's nothing new though. I have a Computer from like 96 that can do it.

There's supposed to be something built into some newer TVs (I believe, or maybe you need a box) and built into newer Intel chipsets for wireless HD streaming. I don't feel like looking it up right now.

edit: here you go http://www.intel.com/consumer/products/technology/wirelessdisplay.htm

I went out and bought a WDTV Live, which can have a wireless card, and connected that to my TV. Works really well.

Apple TVs are fantastic, but they're too slow for some of the larger "bluray" quality downloads. Stutters like crazy trying to decode them. If they would update the Apple TV with newer hardware, I'd probably buy one. That was a large factor in my WDTV Live purchase, that and price.
