i have got a 89 mj with a 3" lift had an alignment done and the truck drives straight now but noticed the steering is loose in the wheel wondering if there is a way i can tighten it up or is it just a jeep thing? and the doors are pretty rusty and not finding any comanches around here so was wondering if they will fit from a xj 4door or 2door.

i've seen a guy put front doors on from a 4 door xj, his name on here is jeepers48. it is a lifted jeep but check for slop in the u-joints on the steering shaft and slop in the steering box, there is a way to adjust backlash on steering boxes but u need to know what ur doing. they would've probably noticed things like that in an alignment though. depending on the AMOUNT of toe in/out and positive/negative caster from the control arms from the lift ur running these could be factors too though.
