if i machined up a space to move the spindle out .600 would i be able to run chevy stubs on my ford outers?

has anyone tried this yet?

i saw something in the 60 bible about a bearing that spacers the spindle out an 1/8th inch so if i combined that with .475 spindle spacer and some longer strong spindle studs i should be good right?


I've heard you can just chop the ends off the stubs and call it good but I don't feel too comfortable with that.

I'm not too concerned with the snap ring groove as ill be running flanges in the mud.

Is Jesus retarded for thinking this will work? Suggestions and critism are equally appreciated.
