I'm bumping up to an 8" lift, so parts of my 6" lift are available.
Coils are not so expensive, but the rear full leaf packs were not cheap (as were the new 8" packs). They were on my DD for about a year and a half. I've driven this XJ all over the place and even towed multiple axles on my utility trailer with it many times. They did not sag and I was always very happy with the ride (which is why I bought Skyjacker again). After I swapped out the rear springs, I realized that I apparently never took pictures of the XJ as it was. Below are the only shots I could dig up that showed the Jeep. Its pictured on the 6" lift with 285/75's w/ Moabs. Its tough to put things in perspective in these images, but you can at least see the distance from the tires to the flares. I wheeled it on 31's with this lift and it had a lot of flex. Never tried it with the 285's for fear of bashing up the flares (I don't like trimming), but it appears that the right backspacing may let the tire stuff decently without bashing into anything.
$450.
Rear packs are already out. Front coils coming out this week.
I think I have a picture of it on 31's uploaded if I can get into my GL gallery. Otherwise I'll have to dig it up at home.
SOLD.
- Front 6" coils.
- Rear 6" full packs with bushings.
- 6" lift shocks, whatever brand came with the lift.
- Front swaybar discos + extended rear swaybar links (non-disco). Rears are new - I removed the rear swaybar when the 6" lift was installed.
