Where you used to live is only going to get a couple of inches. My hobbies are pushing snow and stacking wood.
It looks like the north west is going to take a hit.

Well it's gonna be cold as shit but the snow is looking to be a little disappointing at this rate. We'll see. The wind might give you some additional downed trees to chop up too.I'm not ready for winter. While I have an assload of wood cut, I don't have much left that is dry (less than 12%). I have a ton that is 13-16% and a bazillion that is 20%+. This year we have used twice the wood previous years. It's windy, my wife has been sick, and I have a lot of attic work I'm doing plus I have most of the attic insulation not on part of the house.
We've only run the oil burner for about 15 hours so far this year which is tiny compared to a normal working year.
I have a bunch of trees down I was looking forward to getting cut up before winter showed up, but oh well.
Yeah, the snow numbers keep going down. But with the cold and winds, a little snow can fuck up the roads pretty bad.Well it's gonna be cold as shit but the snow is looking to be a little disappointing at this rate. We'll see. The wind might give you some additional downed trees to chop up too.
That’s a fair trade, I’ll take it.Where you used to live is only going to get a couple of inches.![]()
We got only a couple inches, but it is snowing horizontally .An Arctic front kicks up dust as it rolls into Denver on Dec. 21, 2022. Later Wednesday afternoon, it was Denver's turn, with a drop from 42 to 18 in 7 minutes, cooling to just 5 degrees an hour later with a wind chill of -23. The 37-degree temperature drop in an hour also appears to have set a record.
