I asked a question about this over a week ago, and just got this response. I'm sure it's a scam, but it amazes me that these dueche bags will put in this kind of effort to try and scam people. I supose if he gets a couple of suckers to send him 3grand....

I wish I could search the vin for current owner.

"Hello and sorry for my late reply,
I'm Sgt. John Renner. This 2003 Saab Aero Wagon is in perfect working condition. This 4 Cyl. 2.3 Liters Turbocharged engine with 5 Spd Automatic transmission has 70k miles and runs very, very smooth. This Saab looks like it just came off the assembly line. This is a Saab Aero that starts, stops, and drives with absolutely no problems. In addition to driving like a dream, this car is loaded with options. Including: Rear Parking Sensors, Heated and Ventilated driver and passenger seats, Heated rear seats, Comfortable leather interior and Sunroof. All of your major option categories are covered! A clean car, non-smoker owned, always garaged and very well babied. It was driven by my wife, so this was never raced. Clean/clear title, liens and no accidents history. VIN# YS3EH59G733010984.
Here you can find a lot of pics with the car:

So if you will decide to buy the car, I want the deal closed only through eBay. You will make the payment to eBay and they will hold the money until you receive the car. ONLY AFTER you receive the car and you inspect it, eBay will release the payment to me, in this way we are both protected. I signed up for US military forces and I was sent here with my department to improve the military relations between our country and Croatia. I am located in Zagreb, Croatia. In December, my wife moved here with me and now we have to sell it because we need the cash here for personal reasons and registering here would cost too much; it has US specs and everything, and registering it here in Europe will take for ever.
My final price on it is $3000 US (there is no typo). If you will take it for this price, I am willing to handle the shipping. It will be shipped from here by plane with US Air Military Cargo so it will not cost me anything. You will get it to the nearest airport in your area and then it will be trucked forward to your place. From the moment the payment is secured by eBay the shipping process will begin and it will arrive at your address in about 3-4 days. Please get back to me asap if you decide to buy and include in your e-mail your full name and complete address where you want it shipped so I can start the deal with eBay. You will receive all the transaction payment and shipping details from them.
Thanks, Sgt. John Renner"

I call BS.

He says he's a Sargeant so that you feel warm and fuzzy dealing with him but c'mon, nobody talks like that.

I would never tell anyone that my vehicle has a "Comfortable leather interior and Sunroof", I'd say it has leather seats and a power sunroof. And, since he's already told you it's a Saab Aero, why does he need to mention it again? ("This is a Saab Aero that starts, stops, and drives with absolutely no problems." - he's already said it runs "very, very smooth").

Whenever you get a weird email that you're worried about, google onc sentence from it Make sure the sentence isn't a common wording. Put it in quotes. When you do this, you will find out that the "Sgt." you're dealing with has around 100 different cars, and he really needs to unload them. :sonicjay:

Maybe he steals them over there and sells them to people over here? :tonka:

Absolutely.... it's probably the government’s way of reducing our debt. We steal cars from other countries, and then sell them to our own people to cover money we've given to those other countries. It makes perfect sense.... Cheap cars for us, payback for them and we reduce our multi billion dollar debt 3k at a time.

I'm going to run for President.... fo sho.

Good tip btw CC. I'm smarter for knowing you....:sonicjay::sonicjay:

Doesn't bother me, it just seems to show up alot and I wonder when it will stop.

Your right tho, better to ask than get screwed. Think if people did that before buying from JPFab.:tonka:

How many times are you going to read it?
I read damn near everything because as Quagmire said I am a lowlife that does nothing but play internet police while I surf the internet ignoring the duties at my job and never buying anything off this website.:sonicjay:
