Well I just bought a brand new eddelbrock 1406 carb to put on my 350 and the guy I called at edelbrock said they dont recomend using the 1406 on the performer rpm intake I have. He said it would cause idle problems because the intake is so large it wouldn't be able to get enough fuel to the engine.
the 1406 is 600cfm where the 1806 he recomended is 650cfm. I've talked to a couple stores hee that sell them and all have said that sounds like crap and they have sold the 1406 with the performer rpm and have not ever had any problems.
Has anyone ran this carb/intake before? Am I going to have problems with it? Thanks for the info.
