Are you going fullsize or some narrowed axles??? I started my own SAS on a 91 s-10 and found that the Front Dana 44 out of a Jeep J-10 Pickup is almost the same width as the s-10 frame, frame over perch wise, and it's passenger side drop so you can use the factory case in the S-10.

i'll be using a dana 44 out of a 84 wagoneer. drivers drop so t-case will work. only reason i want that kit is cuz i'm a crummy fabricator. buying something i can simply bolt on then have someone else weld it together is better for me.

Although, I didn't do leaves in the front obviously.

I think the only thing I have to say about doing the swap, don't cut too many corners. I still DD mine, but I really wish I would have shelled out some more cash for other stuff.

I don't know if 95's had it or not, but my 97 had the CV style front output and I am swapping it out for the cardan style from an older 231. That CV was toast pretty quickly.
