i have 2 smith & wesson revolvers that i am looking to get rid of. Both are Smith and Wesson J Frame AirLite Models. I have been carrying airlites for years and so have my friends and we all agree there is no better everyday carry piece...as well as a must have as a backup weapon for anyone in the field.
Sorry for the lousy pics, they do NOT do these beauties justice
(340pd on left, 342pd on right)

The first one is kind of a rare gun, smith and wesson discontinued after a very short time not having anything to do with the quality, but more to do with redundancy in their own market. It is a S&W 342pd airlite NO LOCK. This revolver is made of titanium and scandium and weights in at a whopping 10.8 oz. This gun is chambered in 38 special and is rated for 38+p rounds which it will hold 5 of. it is as far as I know the lightest 38 revolver ever made. as far as i know, this gun has NEVER BEEN FIRED (except at the factory for their test round) i know i never shot it, and the 1st owner said he never did either. i have fired the same model before though, and i love it. This gun is in absolutely mint condition and shows no sign of carry or misuse or even really handling for that matter.

Asking price is 650

The Second wheel gun for sale is a S&W 340PD. The 340 weighs in at 11.6 oz (lightest 357 to the best of my knowledge) also made of scandium and titanium, holds 5 rounds and is chambered in .357 magnum. this gun will obviously also shoot 38 special. This is my second 340pd and probably my favorite gun i have ever owned. this gun is in immaculate condition, showing only very minor marks on the cylinder from the mechanism. it has seen less than a box of ammo thru it in its life and ready for many more. It has never seen a cleaning rod, only bore snake. It also has the hi viz sites on it which are made for gathering light and quick target acquisition. It also has an internal locking system built into the gun, so just turn the key and the gun is locked. back the otherway...ROCK AND ROLL

Asking price on the 340 is 700

The ONLY reason i am selling these, is because they are duplicates. I love them enough, i would not be upset about having more than 1....but there are more wishes on my list. I am open to trades and also willing to make a package deal on the pair.

Please PM or email me only

These are very nice pieces for anyone looking for a carry pistol. Best on the market IMO. I'm stubborn and want a hammer on everything though. I need to train myself more in shooting double action from the draw. I always cock the hammer on the draw, and I fumble if there is no hammer.

But you gotta do it! Then load 1 in a pack of 38's and let your friend try!

I'm in wixom till 5 today and then heading back to Rochester. Willing to meet in between or you can come here. Will take 650 cash today for the 340pd. Also willing to barter in gift cards or credit to outdoor stores or SPECIFIC off road shops

The 442 and 642 and I believe m&p 340 are all stainless cylinders. The 340pd has a titanium cylinder. With a scandium alloy frame.
