I got StepBrothers for Christmas and I had to download new dvd-ripping software because the encryption is different. What really sucks is what I downloaded won't break it either.

What free software solutions do you use to decode DVD?

AnyDVD works well for me.

i use anydvd. you get a 2 week trial, but then you have to pay and for the 2 programs i use anydvd and clonedvd it was $60 for both of them.

VLC - you can rip/encode/decode anything

DVD shrink works good if you can find a copy.

Dvddecrypter.com Dvddecrypter look for free stuff, works flawless, and the I use nero dvd to burn it

are you sure its not your nero software?: i had that issue...

the guy that wrote dvdshrink got a job at ahead software and as such broke the connection between nero and dvdshrink permanently.

I paid for dvdfab long ago and get lifetime upgrades to it that so far has cracked everything i've thrown at it. Since I've migrated more to bluray though I dont burn as much anymore and stopped my netflix account.
