Anybody ever figure out how to make the rear window wiper actually wipe the whole length of the blade and not just the middle 6"?

Is the spring that holds it down worn out or something? It has done this since I put a blade on it a couple years ago. Other XJs seem to do this too.

There's your problem right there. The arm spring pushes right in the middle of the blade. If the blade's "suspension" is too soft, there is too much force in the middle and not enough of it is being distributed to the outer areas. Try a different brand blade.

I'll try that. I don't remember what brand I bought though. It didnt have an arm on it when I bought the jeep so I ordered an arm through autozone and bought the blade at the same time.
