Shits going to get real this year. Energy prices are so high in Europe that it makes sense to make LNG and ship it along with diesel and propane. So with natural gas being triple it's going to put the hurt on anyone buying natural gas at realtime prices. DTE and Consumers Energy both have storage fields so it won't be as bad here in the state but it's going to be brutal elsewhere this winter. Most states allow passthrough costs for energy acquisition so if you don't have a contract... they pass the costs directly to you.
If you find yourself in the Manistee area, looking for a place to sit down and eat. Maybe you’re pulling and want a generous parking lot, there is a new Mexican restaurant, “El Toros” on 55, a couple miles east of town. Sign bills it as Latin Cuisine.
Real Mexican food, served by real Mexicans!
The menu has a side of chunked avocado that was awesome on the tacos! I would swear the rellenos was made fresh, not frozen, and was not swimming in rancheros sauce to hide the freezer burn.
I give the place an 7 out of 10. If they had peas and carrots in the Spanish rice they would be a solid 8.
They are new, trying to make a good impression so get there before they get settled in.
