Completely serious.

Capitalism helps control market prices to limit inflation, and fosters more people to make more stuff.

You get a cheaper price and more choices to choose from.

There is the problem of quality of the choices, IE Harbor Freight, but people have convinced themselves that items don't need to last "because nothing lasts anymore". So, there is good and bad to Capitalism; but the bad (shitty quality) is more of a consumer choice (to purchase the shitty things) rather than a fault of Capitalism

I guess it does then.

I guess that makes sense, it was probably an environmental disaster.

Yup when scrap was at a high I new people that was creating a small forge with a leaf blower and melting it off real fast. Definitely not eco friendly lol
But by time u waste all ur time and energy getting plastic off you’re better off just taking it in and getting a small deduction for it being on there imho

Two funerals in one week... Along with the gloomy weather, it has been tough to stay positive. At least it's Friday and I DON'T have to work Saturday for once.

Random BlooMule update:

Mom is doing well, she's actually going back to her own house (she was VERY insistent on that) and will have a visiting nurse checking in.

Which works out, because....

My son's girlfriend, er ex-girlfriend- no, that's not quite it...erm... baby momma... well, her and our grandson are coming back to Michigan to stay with us. Just booked a flight for her and her two kids (younger one is from her current ex... agh, makes my head hurt trying to figure this shit out) seems the guy was cutting her off from outside contact, she managed to get a burner phone so she could contact family. She's going to stay with us until her mom gets out of the hospital and chemo treatment. It'll be good to see her and the kids, yes, I know one is not a blood relative, but it's not his fault. We can't be 'Grandma and Grandpa' to one and not the other, that's a shitty thing to do to a kid.

I'll be honest, it's going to take some adjustment. Been a while since there have been little kids around. There are two kids a little older next door, and my wife's oldest boy's girlfriend has a son about the same age as Sammy... and his name is Sammy too.... well, at least that's one less name I have to remember.

Not going to go into too much detail, but it was very urgent to get those kids out of the environment they are in. Hopefully I'll be a better Grandpa than I was a dad.
