Yeah, I looked at a 'real time' video, it took the guy about an hour, all metric hand tools. I watched 3 different videos actually, all of them state the lower hose tends to stick but can be removed without cutting it. With that in mind, I'll probably just replace the hose too. Water pump runs around $70, guess I'll do it when it warms up Sunday. Not like there's anything Super Important going on.
Just the irony of having recently replaced the radiator, water pump, hoses, t-stat and head gaskets in the plow truck isn't making me feel any better about it.
Was going to rip into it today, but my 50K btu torpedo heater doesn't even take the chill off this cold.
