The things I do when I get bored....

 

Found out a month ago my company was bought out by a national firm. Found out today i still have a job, that was a long four weeks.

I found out today that the owners of my company take no money out of the company. I guess they just do this for the glory :nana:

 

I found out last week that the owners of my company want to move to a larger facility north of M59

 

My fear, since I'm in a stupid stamping plant in downtown GR, like one block off the medical mile, is before too long this plant will be taxed out so they can make it into hipster condo's like every other old factory around it lol.

Got the 454 all wired n fired, go to put the trans in gear, acts like clutch is not releasing. Turns out the pilot bushing is tight on the trans input shaft. It's either too thick (which wouldn't surprise me) or I didn't get it seated deep enough. Trans slid in fine, and clutch alignment tool went in smooth as well so it's not the ID.

Gotta drop that cast iron Saginaw again.....

I put it in third, set the parking brake, and started it up with the clutch disengage. It broke free and now shifts normally!
