Got the 454 all wired n fired, go to put the trans in gear, acts like clutch is not releasing. Turns out the pilot bushing is tight on the trans input shaft. It's either too thick (which wouldn't surprise me) or I didn't get it seated deep enough. Trans slid in fine, and clutch alignment tool went in smooth as well so it's not the ID.

Gotta drop that cast iron Saginaw again..... :(
