Stupid question that needs a stupid answer. What do you use when you have a seized and rounded out lug nut? The nuts on my f150 have that stupid aluminum casing and are now stripped and seized. Has anyone used the reverse thread sockets? I ordered a set to try
Use the Craftsman stripped nut removes, they're like 30 bucks, deform the piss out of whatever you put them on, but have always done the job for me. The Irwin brand ones suck it though.

I did have a snowflake Grand Cherokee wheel once I had to cut off with a giant grinder, that sucked.

Just went through this on my tj, the nut part actually snapped off and left nothing to grab (i hammered on a smaller socket once the chrome came off) luckily i was gonna scrap the wheels anyways. Went and replaced all the studs and got 10 lugnuts for 15$ from a tireplace nearby. Good times

Did you have the silly tin clad acorn, not acorn nuts? Thats what happened on the ZJ, I spun that chrome cap off, rounded the actual steel nut underneath, and it was too deep to get to.

I CAN’T STAY SILENT ANYMORE.
I am here to aid those that want gun control. I'm taking a stand and getting involved: if you or your friends have a pistol, revolver, shotgun or rifle looking to be removed, I will take it (permanently) and ensure it ends up in a safe place. I normally charge for this service, but I'm willing to waive my normal fees because I care.

LOL that's funny. I had that problem on my XJ, I drilled it out with a 1/2" split point bit. It took a minute to get the nut off and it was cross-threaded on with an impact.
