Why is it when you are on a 2 lane behind someone going 50-55 and then come to a passing lane that it becomes a drag race from a 50 mph roll? I drive 31 North of 10 often and it happens almost every damn time.

Is she also the same person that rides in the left lane on the highway, and if people want to go faster then they can go around?

Because I hate both of those types of people.

 

Sadly they're the same ones that can't figure out why road rage exists.

I experience this alot when driving my RV. People don't want to be passed by a big rig. I also get just the opposite where they MUST get around us and then they slow down. People are dumbass's. Want to brake check or fuck with a big rig and you quite likely will get your ass packed.

I don't even speak to a family member because she does this daily on the e-ways and on purpose. Her reasoning is that the police cant police everybody so she is helping them out by slowing traffic down. She actually thinks she is doing good. If ever there was a reason to smack somebody...................so frustrating.

Oh, I love to fuck with those people. I pass them, get in front and do 2mph under. Then when they try to pass, I speed up to the speed limit.

Cruise control is fun!

 

Peoples lack of cruise use, or whtever their problem is, is the primary factor that leads me to pass people. I just want to go the same speed lol. I'll slow down a little, if you're being consistent, but if you hit the bottom of the hill at 60, and are going 45 at the top, I just can't, wtf? Cruise, learn it, love it, live it.

Bingo! I don't care how fast you drive. Just pick a speed AND STICK TO IT and I will work around you.

 

Yep- I'll set my cruise and get passed and re-passed by the same guy 10 times an hour.

I tried that once with the HHR out of curiosity, maintaining 55 mph returned the best MPG, 36mpg.

Jackassing around with speed didn't do any better than just setting the cruise at 70mph, around 28mpg. Above 55mph, aerodynamics on the HHR really suck.

I've squeeked out 43mpg out of my 98 Saturn SL with manual steering, 5 speed, only option over stock is AC, which works. That wasn't trying super hard either.

 

I squeaked out 8 mpg on my motorhome once. :d:

 

If I leave for work at 6:55 am, I can cruise all the way to GR with it locked at 57 mph, and I get 13.2 mpg out of my 8.1 CCLB lol. Thing never downshifts the entire way.
