Getting ready to replace cracked header on 4.0 with another stock header. Outlet on header is 2.0 inches, would anything be gained by running 2.5 inch for the rest of the exhaust, or should I just stick with 2 inch all the way back.

Also anyone have experience with FlowMaster Hushpower mufflers? I think I am going with it due to the compact size.

Thanks

Yes, there is some potential gain by running 2.5" pipe all the way back. The most restrictive part to replace are the cat and the downpipe.

Thanks for the help. Ended up going with 2.25" as advised by the custom muffler shop. Ordered the Flowmaster Hushpower and skipping the cat for now.
