I'm looking for some information on late 70’s early 80's postal Jeeps that look like a DJ5 at first glance but had a complete fiberglass body and a rectangular headlight front end. I assume it was made by AMC as the front end looked similar to that of a CJ10. I've seen two in the last couple of years, one in Northern Wisconsin and one in Southern Wisconsin. Both were 2wd and had 4cyl Ford motors with auto transmissions.

I am looking to purchase three of them to recondition and put into a long term service project.

Any info on them would greatly be appreciated.

I am currently selling one of these jeeps on ebay. It is listed as a 1974 DJ-5 postal jeep with structo-fab body
