Thanks!

It doesn't even have to be a letter.
A quick phone call will do just fine.

They just need to hear that you want them to:
"Please support House Bills 6159, 6160, 6161, and 6162"

They need to hear it soon and they need to hear it often!

here is the only personal response I got from all the emails

Jon,

Thank you for your e-mail. We anticipate committee consideration of the bills next week following the end of three weeks of public testimony.

Sincerely,

Joel Sheltrown

got another response
Thanks so much for your email. I was juggling two committees at the same time last week, and missed much of the testimony on the OHV bills but the chair knew to come and get me from the other committee is voting took place. It didn't, as I'm sure you are aware. The bills are now rescheduled for action May 25th.

I'm still studying the pros and cons of these bills. I know they will open more state land, which I support, but also include a new fee system that I want to make sure is warranted and fair. The DNR does not support the bills without some changes, and because that will impact some member's decisions, the sponsor is working to find middle ground.

Again, I appreciate having your support for the bills and will have it in mind in the days ahead.

Sincerely,

Kenneth B. Horn
State Representative
94th District

That's all right.
Even a canned response shows that they did receive a "yes" request.
They'll tally up the yeas and nays they received at their office and vote accordingly.
So EVERY yes each Committee Member receives at their office counts!

THANK YOU!
