Went to the old abandoned town site of Pere Cheney tonight with the family. Looked at the old foundations and checked out the cemetery. If any of you have not heard of it, it would be a good spot to check out when in Grayling. Lots of two-tracks. There is one geo-cache, and lots of places to use a metal detector. People have stories of some creepy stuff happening there. One of our old Crawford county sherriffs, Joe White, dug up a body when he was a kid, drove around town with the skull in the back window of his car. A couple years ago, some kids were caught digging in there, too. The cemetery has been severely vandalized over the last 150+ years, real sad. Not many headstones left to read.

we met some lady out by that way when we were riding up north one weekend. She was pretty creepy but really nice and asked if we wanted a good scare. So we take this creepy ass road all the way back there in the middle of the night and dead center in the cemetery there was a candle lit and none of the wax had been burned at all. It was creepy because there wasn't a single person within miles. I'm a pretty big sissy so i dont ever plan on going back haha

Went to Pere Cheney cemetery last Summer. Someone on a ghosttown forum was claiming there is a whole other row of graves under the dirt road that goes into it.

Been to Marlborough too. Its private property I found out. Hombre on here says he knows the owner.

Idlewild is cool to cruise around too.

Yeah, been there before too... kind of crazy seeing a graveyard out in the woods like that.
