Ok my jeep has some ugly a$$ black outdoor type paint on it. It is flaking off in numerous areas. The factory paint under it looks good. So my question is does anyone know off a way to get this crap off without damaging the factory paint underneath?

a heated power washer, that will peel that shit right off there

local car wash and about 30 bucks in change hahaha a good carwash where it gets hot or his idea^^^

The flaking off stuff is probably where there was grease / oil / contamination. Everything else that's still sticking is probably on there pretty good.

Your best bet is probably as stated above. Don't use aircraft stripper, you'll take it down to the primer or bare metal. A sander is gonna eat right into the OEM paint.

case of beer, power washer and some strong but cautious fingernails. Its the pussy version of elbow grease you need there.
