I have a 1995 starcraft with a 120hp force. Did a lot of work to it to try to get it running good. It idles ok, starts good. Gets out of the hole but won't rev past 4000rpm and it cuts in and out like it's running out of fuel.
I've put all new fuel line from tank to engine.
Cleaned carbs
Adjusted timing
Put a new 17 pitch prop on it.
I'm sick of messing with it and want to take it somewhere and drop it off and get it fixed. So if anyone knows of a good outboard mechanic let me know.

did you rebuild your fuel pump?
I did not. Thinking I'm going to do that first because it runs good at low speed. And up to 4k.

I know people who are good are expensive. But expensive and shitty workmanship are more of what I was concerned with

All the reviews online state the opposite. I'm not against them. I am going to replace the fuel pump and see if that helps.
