Probably not, unless you want BitLocker.

If you decide you made the wrong decision, you can upgrade later for a small fee anyways using Windows Anytime Upgrade.

It is a little apple'y and you will want to download the hack for moving the folder buttons back to the right side (unless you like them on the left), other than that it has been trouble free for me.

I've heard that the only reason to update to windows 7 in the first place is if you have windows vista, I still run XP and love it, don't have any problems

i just updated today, support for iphone has been added (woohu!)

and 4 desktops now, i like that.
