just got my 5.5 Superflex EB coils delivered to the shop, guess i know what i'll be doing later tonite

and they are way softer, i can put my 180lbs on them and depress them an .5 inch, i can't get my RBV coils to even flinch with my weight on them

Okay got my springs installed, their not broke in yet, but they are softer then my SJ's but not as soft as i would like. Maybe they'll get softer as they break in.

Got my front headlights and parking lights wired up. Also got my Winch hooked up and i'll have to make due with the shorter winch cable for now. Still need to make a few more braces to the frame/bumper to strengthen it. I still need to mount one shock in the rear and make a rear bumper. But its damn close.

I may have a hub going though, the LF is extremely hard to switch from free to lock and back to free

And my Radiator has a pin hole leak somehwere on the pass tank about half way up, so thats another thorn in my side i gotta fix

The lock out most likley just needs dissasembled, clean and lube. The chrome part with the plastic knob has an O ring under the knob that gets dry and dirty making it hard to turn.

I use silicone grease in this area to save the plastic. Not sure if it's nessesary.

Man you hussled on that thing it looks good, you should be proud! I think you will be fine with the 44. I run a full size bronco in mud with a 460 and a 44 front welded and I just broke my 1st stock shaft. I was running 35x16 boggers and 38x12.50 tsl's without a problem, when I stepped up to 39.5x18 boggers thats when I had a problem. Where do you guys buy your axle parts from. I dont wanht the 60 in front because I want to keep the weight down, Those things have to weigh twice as much!

If you start having problems with the stock shafts, I have had very good luck with Yukon shafts and super joints. Randy's ring and pinion are good people to deal with.

I called them once and they were very helpfull, thanks for the tip. Yea I really liked how my new tires pulled it through some nasty mud but it only made one pass then snap. I replaced the joints this spring and have mudded quite a bit with no prob till I bolted on the bigger tires so I am going to have to upgrade because those tires seem to take it to a hole nother level!

My dad and I have ran BIIs since 94 and they are extremely durable with a standard, I have thought about doing what youve done many times. I started one but it wasnt good enough to put all the time into, but now seeing yours makes me feel like I dropped the ball. I should have got a better body and pressed on like you did. I never thought of the BII as an Edsel!

my mom had a 86 when i was growing up, it was like s uper light blue color and the rear spare had a metal cover over it that said broncette and had a lasso and a girls cowboy hat on it, she beat the piss outa that thing

my dad always had full size bronco's, so i spent my youth wheeling in a bronco of numerous sizes

the thing about B2's is that their were a few out there that would run/last forever but most didn't and were peices (what i like to call friday trucks, cause their were assmebled on a friday)
i personnaly have owned several bronco 2's and have never paid more then $200 for one

i still own this one and only use it for mud bogs

heres one i had for a while, got it for free

this is both B2's in above pics, the one on the right is my mud bog truck when it was in stock form

this was my first B2, got it for free, had a dead cyl but still ran, and the body was horrible condition
