another step closer..........picked up a 3.90+ carrier from greenmeanie today and he even through in a yoke with it

pretty much just leaves

4.88R gears
gas tank-straps-fuel pump for a b2

those are the last bigger $$ items needed

but the difference in width is still to much, i'll need to widen the rear another inch on each side, i'll probably change the backspacing on the rims to compensate for it

got my driveshafts back today thanks to muddywater, i'll be putting those back in tomorrow, well atleast the rear one for now, still need to buy gears yet

but i am having problems getting the RF spindle hub off to get the axle shaft out and carrier.......my arms hurt from swinging my slide hammer

I've been there before, it took me 6 hours on my 92 the first time.

For now the rear is a simple leaf pack that i reused from another truck (unsure what or where it came from) but theirs a 4" block in it for now, my goal is to elimnate the block and actually lower the truck 2 inches worth of susp. but i wanna keep the BL. Crazy yes i know, but if you have every tried to pull a trans from an explorer with out removing the exhaust y-pipe, its about impossible. Having the BL makes any work under neath a dream. And with how often i am fixing this thing its worth keeping

i'll work on getting better pics of the coil mounts....

for your explorer, just doing a SOA to it will give 4-5 inches of lift with just that, only real modification after that is making shocks mounts to reattach the shocks. The nicest part is when i did the SOA i put the spring pad on top so that frees up an inch or so of ground clearance near the tire. Now some might think the axle tube is only like 3.25" so how does it lift 4-5 inches. Well with the way the spring is arched it boosts the susp a little more then by having it spring under...........All B2s came spring under the rear axle

started to mount my front bumper and winch on last nite. Had a set-back though with the project, the carrier i bought thinking/told that it was 3.90+ is not so i am still need of a carrier

i did get the hub off, i used a 4ft long peice of 4x4 wood and just beat the hell out of it, actually broke two of the 4x4 posts in the process

Well got a bunch done, i have found that the Clutch/Brake pedal
Assm is not only different from an explorer to a B2, but the
length the pedal travels vs firewall clearance is different.
I could not get enough travel in the pedal to disengage the clutch.
So I cut the pedal off and repositioned it to clear. I also got my
brakes working Front and Rear. But after running it in my yard i
found i have a small Radiator Leak on the Right tank about half way
up.

I also got my front bumper about half on (half on being not full secured yet)

First time its really been mobile so i thought i would mess around
