Heres the stock style hub i run (this hub has now been through two chrome moly's) that is still good. And below it is my Yukon Chrome Moly that i broke at rocks/valleys two weeks ago.

I purchased them from Broncograveyard early last year. Shattered the LF inner/outer last summer. Blew all the ears off the inner and the stub. The 5-760x ujoint held though. So it wasn't a ujoint failure. So i got that one warrantied. But now i broke this one. But because i got the Left side warrantied already for free, now i cannot warranty this one because its only warrantieable one time. So I'm now SOL with the stub and would have to buy a new one at full price to replace it.

I think i may send yukon an email. I think its BS that i have eaten 2 chrome moly's on a stock warn style hub and the hub has held each time.

This break was with my 38's, last years break was on 36's

I could understand if i was running a stout V8 and the wieght of a fullsize truck. Or hell even a welded front axle.

Its just a dman explorer with a 4.0L and an aussie locker. Hell when this stub broke it didn't even take out the pins in the aussie.

john did you call yukon? i had 2 of the same side warrantied.you need to call them and complain..they will most likely take care of it.

i didnt say a word.....:sonicjay::sonicjay:

the bad part is..... when you broke this one, you werent even beating on it hard. a little hop, but not bad. ive put my stock shafts through more than that??
