I have the free versions of Gaia and Topo Maps + and have been trying to decide which one to pay for. I haven't had time to use them in remote areas and I'm trying to figure out which one is best for Michigan and then which map(s) are better for MI.

Any advise would be appreciated.

I have Gaia, and I barely know how to use it, and because of that, don't really use it and find it not worth the money.

OnX or something like that is one I saw recently that looks pretty good.

I use OnX and they have pretty good maps, online and off. It's like $99 for a year, it also does come with a lot of other tools and feathers. Pins, Line distance, tracking, government/private land ownership, hunt units...bunch of other stuff I don't use.

I like it a lot. I've also not tried anything else, not had a reason to look for something else.
