I recently replaced a starter on a 2002 Saturn SL2. Before I did, I checked to make sure it didn't start. Turned key on, everything lit up (dash lights, etc), then when I start it, all I got was a click from the starter. Just one click.
After replacing the starter, car started up just fine like it should. Cool.
It's been almost a week, and now the car will not start again. The starter doesn't even click or anything. Car still has power though. I was told the battery is fairly new, but then again, I won't rule anything out right now.
I've been reading online about these turds, and I guess they are notorious for intermittent starting problems. Ignition switch, neutral safety switch, door chime/RKE fues, and a couple more things have been mentioned as far as a possible solution.
Anybody have any experience with these cars, or familiar with the problem?
