i have a 1997 Wrangler with 4.0, I turn the key and the starter has power.. but their is no spark or power to the coil. I replace the Distributor, Coil, and CPS (am position sensor) What's the problem?

Did you replace the Cam Position Sensor or the Crank Position Sensor?

The Crank sensor is usually the problem in these cases.

i repalece the Crank Position Sensor.. Also the belt is not on and both fender and lights are unpluged

when you figure it out let me know!!! I am in the same boat.. was thought to be a loose wire at the fire wall connection.. but not so much

Pour a little red Kool Aid in the gas tank. It'll fire right up!

it ran before we started fixing it, it was hit in the front end.. my dad owns a shop, so we're working on it....
-But he knows someone that works at a dealer and is going to see if he can fix it, it has to be some simple common problem...

does yours have an ASD relay?
if the fuel pump is kicking on then the asd is working



might check the pickup coil under the distributor cap and rotor

Now no fuel, but has spark

i repaced the computer, and have spark now, but i'm not getting fuel..
suggestions???
