wha.. whats this for? kinda curious since i run about 4-8 ish a day.

http://www.nike.com/nikeplus/

Its the shoe sensor that talks to your ipod that monitors speed, distance, calories burned etc, and it links to nike.com to give you graphs of each run.

Its kind of an expensive setup, but its sweet.

Gives me more motivation to run. I've been doing a mile a day at lunch, and every 3 days running another mile at night. But I need more motivation :sonicjay:

I run the paint creek trail, and sometimes stony creek metro park on the weekends if the weathers nice. The good thing about paint creek is that i have someone drop me off... then it doesnt matter if you're motivated, you still have to make your way back. If you need someone to run w/ ya, Let me know, im a health freak.

wow what a waste of money.
Yeah...the shoes are a waste...I'd just buy some Asics and buy this lil guy...

It works with the Nike+ Ipod system but you don't have to buy the Nike brand shoes :thumb:

umm. the shoes don't cost any more then normal running shoes.
My dad is in a Triathlon club and a running club and has done 3 marathons and he prefers Asics to anything else and his were only $45 but to each their own. He says they're better than any Nike he has used and I agree with him. Never had a running shoe as comfortable as an Asic :thumb: But to each their own.

Hi.

My uncle tells me that GM trucks are way better then fords. Hes driven over 2,000,000 miles, and he says they are way more comfortable then fords.

I have 10 pairs of running shoes. Puma's, adidias, asics, nike, and new balance. They all are comfortable, and light. Why the hell would you buy a shoe that isn't comfy?

Personally, i dont go out and buy a brand, i try a shit ton on and whatever feels the best is what i buy. Then, i keep buying that same shoe untill they stop making them. works for me :thumb:
Well yeah thats exactly what I'm saying...based on my experiences I prefer Asics...there's no reason I should have to buy a Nike product to use the Nike+ Ipod system. that kinda was my whole point in that...:poke:
