After about 5 years my Motorola Q "smartphone" finally died on me :( Now its time to get a new phone, anyone have any advice as to what I should get? Im sticking with Verizon and already have a data plan so I wanna stick with a "smartphone" style phone. Does anyone have a motorola Droid or whats a good Blackberry?

The new Droid Incredible looks pretty badass. I currently have a Blackberry Tour and am pretty happy. I've had a couple Blackberrys and they are good phones are take a beating.

Droid Incredible, only thing I don't like about it is battery life some days. Have to watch what you have running. I thought I would hate the lack of a real keyboard but can type just as quick now as on a blackberry.

I have a moto droid and am happy, though I had one fail under warranty. I'd look at the incredible, heard good things, but never seen it personally. You don't need the slide out keyboard the moto has, but I do find myself using it.

I was just at a Verizon store yesterday. I guess they ran out of the first batch of the Incredibles and now they aren't available till sometime around the end of the month. So, not sure if that'll work for the OP or not.

i bucked the trend and went with a palm pre plus. I like that it is its own wifi hot spot, i like having slide out keyboard and touch screen, plus they are damn near giving the things away right now with unlimited data plans thrown in or at least they were last month when i got mine. takes great pictures, and plenty of apps

I have the Brigade and love the damn thing. Its waterproof (3 feet for 30 minutes), dust/ dirt resistant, and can take a good beating. Very solid. Yes, its big, but its smaller than the old version I had of it (Type V) in all dimensions, and this one came with a much larger screen and full keyboard. Great battery life too. Ive had it since may 20, and Ive charged it 2 maybe 3 times since then with lots of use. FANTASTIC pictures too. The best Ive ever seen out of a phone before. It also has a very bright flashlight as well.

Dude, hands down... wi thout a doubt, if you're eligible for an upgrade on Verizon.. the HTC Incredible is absolutely the best handset you can buy right now on that network.
