Ok i have a 95 grand limited and for some reason when i open the drivers side door the auto lock stops working but if the door is closed it works also the power windows are not working at all worked around 5 pm went to put jeep away for the night and can't get windows up... All check-able fuses are good.. I have had an issue with window controls not working when door is open assumed it might be a safety feature didn't know for sure hadn't ever heard of that but ya know... thanks Scoot

Bad ground. Check the plugs between the door and jeep.

Something is loose in that door.
Try slamming it.

what he said...common problem an all vehicles that have wires running into the door...the drivers door gets opened the most, so those wires get flexed alot, which causes them to break
