I like the internal pump better.

If you have the cover like this:

You may either be able to create a blank and modify a stock pump assembly and fast fill to fit.

Example: https://goatbuilt.com/shop/ibex/fuel-tank/ibex-fill-plate-blank-fill/

Or just mount pumps off brackets you make like this:

Example: http://www.alltechmotorsports.com/services.html

Or I've seen folks mount them externally to the top of the cell on a tray.
Agreed.

If you run external, make sure you mount the pump below the fuel cell. You can use shock reservoir bumpers and hose clamps to easily mount it to the chassis, just be very careful not to overtighten or you can egg the housing and the rotor will hit.

Mine are all internal. I wouldn't have it any other way. I run my pumps for about a year and then swap them for new ones. Have yet to have one fail I just swap them as cheap insurance. I run the walbro gsl392 they are around 80$

Mike also ran internal the last few years.

Throw the foam in the garbage.

Yup, similar to the color of money. Similar to the $ I just spent on a winch rope somebody else broke.

Not because he asked (matter of fact I had to argue for him to accept it) but because it was the right thing to do. I was the one who asked for him to bring it so YOU could use it. If you won't take care of it, it fell on me. I held out long enough, and felt guilty long enough. It's taken care of now :thumb:.

Wasnt the rope kept and fixed by you John? I've gave a shit ton of parts out to people and never saw them back. I actually forgot all about this but it's a big deal to you guys so my bad.

If it was kept and fixed, has nothing to do with the agreement. You were in a spot and needed a winch to compete. I let you borrow mine. The deal was if the rope broke, you'd replace it. It broke. You told me you ordered one. Three months of excuses and no rope showed up. You said you cancelled the order and were gonna get it somewhere else. More months went by and no rope. I needed a winch for my trips. John fixed the broken rope so I could get by while I waited.... it's been long enough now.

Honest answer Erin, the rope isn't what I have the biggest issue with. We ran in the same club. We had the same friends. A lot of people talked shit about you and I stood up for you in conversation. I gave you the benefit of the doubt.
Apparently all those people talking shit, weren't to far off. I enjoyed your company. I guess I gave you to much credit. I wanted your word to mean something.

Now John replaced it. It wasn't his problem to fix. He wouldn't let me give the damn thing back. So now, not only was I out a winch rope, I now have to feel like I owe John for replacing something he didn't break. I don't like that feeling.
It's not fair to him. So because you didn't follow through, it's created unwanted pressure in John and I's friendship.

It is a big deal. It's been a big deal the whole time. Apparently it wasn't that big of deal to you.
