well I went yesterday to the tractor show. seen loads of stuff, but I took some pics of the steamers and a couple other odd machines. its still going on today in Mason right off 127 and bartlette rd if you want to go.

I wonder how many are originally family owned. Passed down.

My grandfather had a nice McCormick(sp) I wish I had the room for it when he died but my uncles sold it.

I have a passion for those old steemers, and have always enjoyed going to those shows. Nice to see folks still keep them up and running, it can't be easy or cheap.

Nice pictures of the steamers and the lowered Cub. A large showing every year is in LaGrange, In (just south of Sturgis). That show has at least 18 Steamers every year, and they are worked pulling gang plows, threshing, sawmills, etc. That is 8/10-12, defintely worth the trip.

Will take my Silver King most likely, and my dad with his AC G or John Deere L.

i was there on saturday, very cool show. that stanley steam car was beautiful.

did you see the thing (for lack of a better word) that was rolling around, it kinda looking like a big version of an argo wheeler. it was o.d. green, 4x4, 4 wheel steer. had what sounded like a small two cylinder engine powering it. what was that?
