Yesterday the boss tells me I'm on indefinte suspension. Because a conveyor system I was operating jammed and burned 2 drive belts. I stayed over to change the belts, clean off conveyor and get system back running. After 3 hours of shoveling, my back called it quits. Also with no exterior lighting in the area, the last 6 feet was left for maintainance in the morning as per night shift supervisor(wasn't his problem). My boss says I could have potentially lost the conveyor. He councelled me, I didn't sign anything and was told to collect my things and was escorted off the property.
Later I found out that my co-worker has been giving my boss bottles of scotch and has his friend lined up for my job. I was just wondering how my coworker can drink scotch with the boss when the boss's dick is still in his mouth????
He'll need that scotch to elieviate the pain he's gonna receive when I get a hold of him.:stan3: pussified bosses anyways.
That is all

I would call wage hour & labor in D rot. the fact he blaimed you for a machine malfunction is probablly wrong, secondly he let you fix the machine before you were let go. so it wasn't your work ethic that was in question. he was looking to play favorites and is hanging his dick out for you to step on. call the right folks and he will be holding his ass.

Keep it profecinal right now...
If you turn in to a jerk, name calling event, it will hold up less in court, but if you remain profecinal and tried to fix the problem, and he allowed it to go on only to let you go with out warning. A you get unemployment and be have a good lawsuit Exspecily if you can prove it was premeditated to hire another person

worse case they will settal out of court

i'm not a lawyer but it sounds like wrongful discharge especially if he let you fix it and continue to work. rake him over the coals. sounds like B.S. reason for letting you go.

you had me a little confused with that "profecinal" word, but after reading the post completely. I would guess you were stating "professional" and agree to staying professional, granted were only hearing one side of the story. if it's like you say definately take him and the company to court. then he could possibly be the one out of a job. and depending on if you liked the job you could be back.

GOOD LUCK IN WHAT EVER YOU DECIDE. :thumb:

My guess is there is more to the story.

I have been in a few plants, and usually there is reason for discharge, not just scotch and a buddy.

But, I could be wrong

ya being layed off is 100% good for fun enjoyment getting fired for constantly being late or insbordanat or conflist with co-workers:chiefwoohaw: then you would have to fight to get your fun enjoyment

worst part is with out a returndate for work you have to go to works and fill out the job bank crap and do more hoops but you still get your cash..but that not bad anywyas since its all about looking for a new job anyways and you do need one:poke:

Go talk to your union rep and get your job back. Based on the story I imagine you are UAW, right?
I wish, no this is a Power Plant. Had a job offer today , see if it pans out. Old boss is being raked over by corporate as we speak, human resources wasn't pleased with my phone call.:tonka:

Everybody has a God given right to have a job and it's always somebody else's fault if we lose said job. Right?

My advice....Take a hard look at yourself and ask what you could have done differently. Make the necessary changes, get a new job and apply said changes. Good luck.

I used to think that to till I got fired after 23 years on the job and no previous write ups or warnings. Went to work on Thur. and was told I was no longer needed. Beer and dick sucking fellow employe were my biggest downfall.
