I'm finishing up my Trans swap (T400 to 4L80E) in my truck and I need the rear shaft shortened. Is there any good shops around that you guys would recommend ??

I have used Ann Arbor Driveshaft. They built a new rear 1410 shaft before Hammers that is holding up well. A bit of a drive, but good work.

They built my rear shaft also

I'll give them a call. A guy I work with lives down that way. I was also told Clyde's Frame in Waterford/Pontiac does them but haven't heard of anyone getting one done there.

I know it's not really in your neck of the woods but I've heard a lot of good things about D and R Driveline in Grand Rapids.

joint clutch and gear is who I use (in Romulus near Detroit metro airport). They have a location in Bay City too I think.
