Will all of the boats in the water have the same engines? One of the captains I fly with is thinking about getting a new boat next year but can't decide which engine to get in the 300hp flavor. He's leaning towards the mercury but I told him to check out the etec.

Most will be Yamaha's, the twin engine boat is being brought from the factory and I'm not 100% sure what they're going to have it powered by. I believe their test boat is the one I just posted pictures of, but it's possible they'll be bringing something else.

Personally there aren't many bad engines out there these days. Yamaha is definitely the most popular, but that super charged Verado is a hell of a machine.

2017 Bennington 27 RSBX 10' wide Elliptical Sport Performance Package Tri-Toon (This is the Catalina Wine Mixer of boats) w/ twin 300HP Yamaha Fourstrokes. 600 HP on a pontoon! If that doesn't do it for you then I don't know what will.
