I put up the 4' LED 3K lumen thingies. I think there are 11 or 13 or something split onto 3 switches in a 30x40 with 12.5' ceiling. Sides and middle on seperate switches. 1 over work bench/welding area, 1 over lathe. Autodimming welding mask dimming bright. I put the plugs in the ceiling on the switches so whatever they come out with next, I'll just mount and plug in "if" i ever need to replace a light.

I built a 60’x80’ shop building, 60’x 60’ is my work shop the balance is a finished area/man cave. In the 60’x 60’ I have 4 toes of 5-220 watt LED fixtures. My ceiling is 18’ high. I purchased these off Amazon for $120 each. You could get by with the 180 watt fixtures since your ceiling is lower than mine.

I’m basing the 180 watt fixtures on a 14’-16’ ceiling height. Lower ceilings would require lower wattage but as you get lower your light beam doesn’t have as wide of a spread pattern so you may want to buy a couple of fixtures and play with the light spread. I like a lot of light. My shop at night is almost as good as a good sunny day. Obviously a little less during the day. Good luck!

I have the 10,000lm 10 pack of those lights in my 28 x 32 two car garage. I can lay on the floor under my buggy and see what I'm working on. It's glorious
Nice. I'm gonna but 8 on the ceiling, and 2 on the walls angles down towards the hoist.
