Who's going and who's watching? If you're going, are you riding along or are you bringing your own rig?

I'll be co-driving with @beefy again in the EMC class. Hammers prep is in full swing, and we are bringing on multiple new sponsors this year.

How come?
With the new rear axle, the pinion sits slightly lower and slips the driveshaft more than we can accommodate. We already knew our drivetrain angle wasn't ideal, but now we need to make some changes to get all of our vertical travel back. We lost about 5" of vertical travel, hopefully tonight we'll have it fixed.

Well we rolled in qualifying, started 95th of 155 cars. Made it up to 6th after the desert lap, then all the way up to 3rd before the first rock trail on lap 2. On lap 2 we did 4 tire changes, 1 driveshaft change (20' from where we did it last year), and rolled over. All self repaired / recovered without pit or outside support. Our final trip thru remote pit 2 we got notified of a bent rear driveshaft, but since we had already gone through our spare we had no choice but to run it. It shook the car so bad we couldn't make it over 30mph which sucked because the last 25 miles of lap 2 were desert so if you saw us going slow on the lake bed, this is why. We ended the day in 16th, I believe. Lots of ups and downs throughout the week, but overall it was a good experience.

Thanks for the support guys. Also, I just did the math. As bad as it sucked only going 25-30mph for the last hour of the race, it did NOT cost us a top 10 finish. It might have cost us a couple spots but it wasn't the difference between top 10 or not. Kinda make's the feeling a little better. Lol
