King 2.5 coilovers with IBP

Need to order 14" kings for the rear and I notice they offer the 2.5" with an Internal Bypass. Anyone have experience with these? Worth the added $265 per shock?? I have front Kings and they are regular 2.5" with external compression adjusters which work awsome.

Deciding if I should go with the adjusters or IBP. Can't afford both

Street driving, some silver lake, rocks, trails.

Properly tuned the IBP should make for a great ride. But they are harder to tune than external bypass shocks.

IBP shocks are popular on 4800 Legends cars. Casey Gilbert's car runs Fox 3.0 IBPs that have tons of tuning time on them and work well.

thanks for the reply. Probably just easier to go with the norm coilovers. Not like i am pre running everyday

I have a brand new set of King 3.0-16” bypass shocks with springs that came with a package deal if you are interested. Problem is I am not sure what to ask and I won’t be home for another week or two to get you much info other than what I just shared.
