Haven’t posted a build thread in a long while, so I figured I’d start with the one I just finished and go from there. Starting with a “free” rusted out 95 xj. Plan was 4 link front and rear, full hydro steering and bolts of tube.

She changed shoes 3 times during the build up. Started on 35s ended up on 38.5’s. Took just shy of 2 years to build it in my 2 car garage.

Soon as weather warms up gonna slap some decals on her. It performs like a beast! Can cruise 65mph down the road and bomb through whoops then climb damn near anything.

What axles you go with. Don’t look like tons

Ford explorer 8.8 and the mighty stock high pinion Dana 30. With 4.88s a lock right rcvs, trussed and braced. Had it at the badlands last summer for a shake down run and he beat the hell out of it and it performed flawless.
