my jeep has been down for weeks after filling up with gas. the fule, fule pump, and lines all seem to check out. pulled the plugs they were black except for #3 whitch was not near as black. so i cleand them reinstalled them and managed to start the jeep shut it offand re pulled the #2 and #3 plugs. the #2 plug is wet black and reaks of fuel, the #3 is barely dirtier than when i cleaned it but still smels faintly of fuel. so im thinking i am having an injector issue.

1.)
soo how can you clean and test injectors on a vehicle that dosent run or barely runs?

2.)
if one injector is not functioning properly would it cause the others to spray more fuel?

A wet plug is often a misfiring plug - but as you said - an injector that is spewing fuel will do it also.

BTW, there are a lot of places that will clean injectors off the car and does a FAR better job than the junk the use to clean them on the car. Personally, I would go through the effort of doing it right the first time.
