I posted this before, but couldnt find the thread to resurrect it.

My Jeep has a 97 4.0 in it.

When coming to a stop while driving it will occasionally idle really rough (gets down to around 200 RPM) but has never stalled, and goes right back to a normal idle as soon as i get to a complete stop. If I hit the accelerator it revs up without a problem.

Before it was suggested that it was an airflow sensor, but after checking at a couple different parts stores they all told me that my jeep doesnt have any kind of idle air sensor or mass airflow sensor

Help pls :(

might be your torque converter staying locked too long.

You may want to check your idle air control motor. It is on the side of the Throttle body. It is a stepper motor that adjusts to control the idle speed.
