Does anyone think that things will get better?
Will our taxes go up?
Will our borders be opened up to allow millions more liberal voters in?
Will conservatives be targeted because of what we believe? This happened under the Obama admin.
Will government run healthcare be pushed through?
Will the filibuster rule be shut down?
Will the conservatives lose the senate? If so the dems will run everything and push through anything they want.
Will the second amendment be erased? How about the first amendment?
Will the police be defunded? and if so what will they be replaced with? We see antifa policing the streets and attacking anyone who speaks against them.
Will the military support a liberal government against the people? and push back against any who protest because of a radical leftwing progressive government.
Will we become a country that embraces the green new deal. Which will eliminate coal and fossil fuel. Just can't see electric 4x4's at the dunes.
Will national parks be closed to the public?
Will state land be limited as to where we can go and how it is to be used?

America is at a tipping point. We see radial liberals trying to erase our history and change it into something we will never get back if it is allowed to continue. Once freedom is removed, you won't get it back.
If you think this cannot happen to us just look at what liberal mayors and governors are allowing to happen in the places they control. Imagine radical progressive liberalism across the nation.
This will not just stay in the cities, it will be in the suburbs as well.
The democrat party has been hijacked be the group of radical progressives and seem to be following along. This is not the party of the working man as they used to represent.

Remember how the last admin targeted the opposition. This time around the opposition will be punished for not being one of them.

Donald Trump may not be your choice but he has been working for the people and not for the party. Liberals hate him and republicans for the most part have not been working with him.
His policies have been helping the hard working people of this country. Unlike what the democrat party has been trying to do for the past 3.5 years which has been to destroy Trump at every turn and bring nothing to the table to make America work for the people.

Does anyone think that things will get better? Yes
Will our taxes go up? I hope so. We need to start paying our on way
Will our borders be opened up to allow millions more liberal voters in? No. Maybe a push to treat people more humanly, but not open boarders
Will conservatives be targeted because of what we believe? This happened under the Obama admin. I hope not, that shit needs to stop
Will government run healthcare be pushed through? It will move in that direction.
Will the filibuster rule be shut down? Dunno.
Will the conservatives lose the senate? If so the dems will run everything and push through anything they want. It's their fault if they lose the senate.
Will the second amendment be erased?I hope not, but there will probably be more restrictions on gun ownership
How about the first amendment? I see Trump more of a danger to that.
Will the police be defunded? and if so what will they be replaced with? We see antifa policing the streets and attacking anyone who speaks against them. I hope that there will be some rethinking of our system of emergency response. Not all situations call for people with guns and handcuffs, and many who aspire to be police officers are not cut out to be social workers.
Will the military support a liberal government against the people? and push back against any who protest because of a radical leftwing progressive government. I hope the military won't support any government against the people. Trump is the only person in government I hear suggesting using the military against the people.
Will we become a country that embraces the green new deal. Which will eliminate coal and fossil fuel. Just can't see electric 4x4's at the dunes. I don't see the whole "green new deal" being implemented any time soon, but I am in favor of using government incentives to move in that direction. We will not be eliminating fossil fuels anytime soon, but we need to keep pushing forward our energy technology to find cleaner and sustainable energy sources.
Will national parks be closed to the public? No, and hopefully they would be sold to the highest bidder either.
Will state land be limited as to where we can go and how it is to be used? It already is. This is not a federal issue.

America is at a tipping point. We see radial liberals trying to erase our history and change it into something we will never get back if it is allowed to continue. Once freedom is removed, you won't get it back. There's enough of us old bias ply liberals to not let that happen. Seriously, no one is trying to erase history. We are re evaluating which parts of our history we should be celebrating. Most of those statues and memorials in question were put up early in the last century by people that were trying to repaint the civil war as some noble cause, and not as an attempt to preserve a way of live that relied on slavery to survive. If the people now living in those communities do not want the reminders of that brutal past in their public squares, I support their right to remove them. That is freedom.

I see the progressive more than the status quo democrats being the ones fighting for the working man. I'm not saying I agree with everything they are pushing for, I just see that Old guard democrats trying to preserve the status quo of having a ruling class in control.

Remember how the last admin targeted the opposition. This time around the opposition will be punished for not being one of them. Again, I do not support that.

Donald Trump may not be your choice but he has been working for the people and not for the party. Liberals hate him and republicans for the most part have not been working with him.

I see Trump more like that goofy old grandfather, whose main priority is getting the grandkids to like him, even if it means what he is doing will ultimately be bad for them. He is more concerned with his legacy than anything else. I'm sure that is why he ran for president in the first place. He realized that as a businessman he will be soon forgotten. The buildings he built and put his name on will one day be renamed, and eventually demolished, leaving nothing. But if he were to be a great president they would built memorials or him and maybe carve his face into the side of a mountain. What he fails to understand is that to be considered a great president, he needs to do more than just build things and appeal to the populace, he needs to be a visionary. Someone who set's a course that leads to a greater future long after he's gone. He had that chance. When the pandemic started, he could have stepped up and shown some leadership. He could have focused on fixing problems, and not blame. He could have understood that the best way to minimize the impact on the economy would have been to provide leadership and guidance on ways that life could continue during a global pandemic, instead he chose to ignore the problems and to throw our children's and grandchildren's money to the people. He had his chance at greatness, and he blew it.

What do I want to see happen in November? I want to see Biden win, and the republicans remain in control of the senate. I want to see Mitch Mcconnell to do what he does best, prevent anything from happening. I want to see for the next 4 years a total gridlock in Washington. I want nothing to happen. And then in 2024, I want to see a fully functioning, non-senile adult win the presidency, I don't care what party he or she represents, because I want them to focus on representing the American people, and not a political party.

I can see why you think of Trump the way you do. You only listen to the opinions from left wing talking heads. I remember seeing old clips from the 80"s of Trump talking with I think it was Barbara Walters and she asked him about running for president and he said something like if the country was going down hill in such a way he would run. Not exactly what he said but if you googled it i'm sure you could find it. Nothing he said in the interview csme close to him saying he wanted to create a legacy for himself.
Trump did get a very slow and sluggish economy up and running to a point that we as a nation has never been before. No other president has done what he has done.
Henry Kissinger just wrote a great piece about Trump. If I can find it and copy it here I will.
If Biden was to win which I dont think he would but we've seen the dems stuff ballots in thier favor before. We will never see a republican majority again. They will add an addition 2 to the supreme court, they will do away with the filibuster rule and ram everything through they want. The green new deal will become a reality. Socilaized medicine will be here and the complete take over of the education system will be their to indoctrinate the kids from preschool through to university. Taking away the tax breaks that we all got under Trump. Energy independence will be a thing of the past. We will be buying oil from the mid east at 4 bucks a gallon and jobs will be sent back over seas. No more made in America. Democrats destroy everything they touch and this country is next. We just need to look at Obama did and then it will be ramped up 10 fold

I didn't get shit from Trump except embarrassment. He's like an orange small-handed belligerent angry child with delusions of reality that makes the US look bad to the rest of the world. But tries to be the leader of the free world to the best of his ability. Which is like watching a quadriplegic on meth try to win an ass-kicking contest.

I just paid my taxes. Every year I pay more taxes but get less. I paid $4500 more this year than I did under Obama and I made less money this year. So yes, I understand if you're a small business owner that already cheats on your taxes or you breed like a warden of rabbits you came out ahead but me... I pay more every year and get less.

Trump is an idiot and so is Biden. Vote Purge 2020 because nothing else will clean up the douchery.

I'll be voting for Trump. Biden is bad news for the United States, and a vote for anyone other than these 2 is a wasted vote...

So you don't care for either of them. But would you be better off under a Biden admin? With waht we see going on with the riots and chaos throughout every major city across the country and Biden not coming out and denouncing their behavior. That is sending a signal that he approves. If Biden wins we could see this continuing across the country and targeting conservatives and law enforcement. We see it happening now, what makes you think they will stop?
Trump would be better than the alternative. Biden has been in office since 1973 and has made no contributions in a positive way other than to line the pockets of himself and family members. He said he would raise your taxes and not just a little. So you could be great full you pay taxes. Because the ones that get money back or pay no taxes aren't living the dream like you.

The only wasted vote is the one not cast.

I'm OK with paying taxes if they go to something useful and everyone pays their "fair share". It should be linear with income in my opinion because the more you have the more you have to lose. There should be no credits or deductions for shitting out children or being a small business owner.

Biden is an idiot. He's got a long political history, some of it good and some of it bad depending on your own personal belief system. He likes to take away personal liberties in hopes it will be for the greater good. He's not sure what the greater good is or reasonably certain it will work, but if it doesn't seem to meet enough resistance it is good as far as he is concerned. He's a good task-based person but he is no visionary. He's delusional as to what the good life is for the common person but I think he genuinely wants people to have "the good life". Past performance is often an indicator of future results and in this case it means he will pander to special interests thereby accomplishing very little that actually matters and only positively affecting those groups and he will do it with the help of all parties. So we will be stuck waiting for the next President after him to do something useful.

Trump is an idiot. He's spent his entire life taking advantage of everything he could at any cost, assuming if he can get away with it then it is perfectly fine (no morals). Including cheating on his wife, bankrupticies to hide from bad decisions, hiding assets, etc. He talks so much there is nothing but noise for many people, which is a shame because once in a while his two brain cells get together and come up with something useful to say but it is missed. No one waits for him to speak because what comes out is probably worthless anyway. He's spent the last 10 years being a walking contradiction. He has the integrity of swiss cheese. He has no problem being a bully and threatening everyone including our own people using the US military on home soil. Trump can't control anything, including his own twitter account... so I'm not surprised he has not had any control over any riots or protests because everyone knows he's a blowhard weak little man waiting for someone to care about him. Past performance is often an indicator of future results and in his case that likely means bankruptcy, cheating on his wife, and saying a bunch of words but saying nothing at all. So we will be stuck waiting for the next President after him to do something useful.

So why not vote Purge 2020? Only shitty people will be shit upon more than likely. We'd have fewer people left to spread COVID-19. We'd put fear into the hearts of the shitters-upon so they'll think twice about being awful human beings. Waiting for a competent and capable Leader of the Free World seems like a waste of time. Why not make some room for a new one and at the same time clear out some dead wood?

The only thing between us and the mob is Donald Trump.
You and what it seems like is so many have a problem with is Trump as a person. He's brutal to listen to at times and if someone calls him out and attacks him he defends himself and his position. You can go over and see where he defends only after he was attacked first.
Lets look past that and look at the policies he has enacted that helps Americans.
If you think this will be the same America that we know it if a democrat/Biden wins you will be sadly mistaken. Look at who is driving him and what direction he is being pushed. The radical left is pushing thier aganda and Biden is going along for the ride. Biden was never for defunding the police until he was told to go along with it. The green new deal will be the next job killing agenda. Remember in obama days the cost of oil and where we got it from and it wasn't in our back yard. Under Trump we as a nation are energy independent and the number one in world exports, first time in 75 years. We don't look the the mid-east or russia for oil. Biden said he would shut down our oil export and going back to the mid east for energy sources. Back to 4.00 a gallon gas.
You may not like Trump as a person but his policies are better for America than what Biden would do.
America is at a tipping point right now. Socialists are wanting to take over this country for the wealth and then have control over it including you and me.
Open your eyes and look at what's going on across the country. Never before have we been in this position.

The only thing keeping us from a full blown Communist takeover is this presidency!
Believe me when I say that Trump "is" the wall in more ways than you could possibly imagine.

What did Trump do about any mob, ever, anywhere? Threaten them to leave a church so he could get his picture taken? Threaten only to hire the cheapest illegals to work in his hotels?

I can't think of anything he's done that is memorable, except look like a developmentally disabled douchebag on Twitter. His legacy will be the social media he proclaims to hate but can't peel himself away from.

Gasoline, and energy, as far as cost goes is a side effect of a strong dollar and the technology being there to pull the oil out of the ground in an economical way. Trump didn't put the oil in the ground and he certainly didn't get it out. The dollar is strong because even with our troubles the US is doing better than other places. If we had to pay the real price of oil... it'd be expensive. In fact, it is getting expensive and people in the US are losing jobs because oil is cheap. When oil gets in the ~$43 threshold it is no longer profitable in many areas to continue. However, if they don't continue the well will likely never produce again. So once you start pulling oil out you have to keep going until it is dry. This is why oil in the US is cheap right now, not because of anything Trumpeter did.

The Radical Right wants to do the same as far as control, it's just one that you align with. They want to privatize everything so they can make money off it and they want to control our bodies. So yeah, you can align yourself with the religious nutjob Rights all you want. You are a part of the problem just as the far loony Left. The fact that you are unaware that you are part of the polarizing problem makes you delusional.

If we didn't have the delusional and controlling right such as yourself we wouldn't have the delusional and controlling left such as your much maligned-Biden.

We would see in the headlines across every media outlet across the nation that Trump is a dictator by sending in national guard to stomp out the rebellion. He did inform the liberal democrat governors that he was ready to send help if needed. They never called and asked for help. but they were sure to tell the cops to stand down if they came across riots and the destruction of monuments or statues.
He had to get out of the white house because the media was posting Trump was held up in the bunker for his protection. He came out and made an appearance. Nothing wrong with that. As for hiring people to work for him in his hotels. Did you hear bout that from the media or the people who worked for him? Besides as a business owner you look to pay people their worth, you can't pay a 12 dollar an hour guy 18.

I can't think of anything he's done that is memorable, except look like a developmentally disabled douchebag on Twitter. His legacy will be the social media he proclaims to hate but can't peel himself away from.

Justice reform, First step act, increased funding for HBCU's Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Revamped the VA to bring much needed help to our Vets. The list is extremely long and it id public knowledge. You really need to find a better source to find out what trump is doing because your news source sucks.

Actually Trump opened up gas and oil exploration that obama had shut down. That is why we are now the #1 energy exporter in the world. I do believe OPEC pretty much dictates the cost of oil for the world market. The cost of oil is determined by demand. if you noticed when there was the global lock down the price of oil dropped because nobody was buying it up. Trump did purchase as much as he could to fill up our oil reserves for a few dollars a barrel. Saudi's wanted to flood the market to drive the cost even lower to hurt our export. But Trump bought everything they had.
They have noticed that the oil fields they pump from and thought to be empty, had returned a few years later only to find more oil.

Its called Capitalism. So you think that socialism is better? Maybe you can explain, "controlling our bodies"

If we didn't have the delusional and controlling right such as yourself we wouldn't have the delusional and controlling left such as your much maligned-Biden.

I actually find Trump to be an interesting character. Been watching his circus for so long I can't remember. Back when he was used to be married to Ivana. He used to be on late night TV in the 90s. I've been following his escapades since, even through his reality TV.

He's an idiot that used to be really good at finding non-idiots to surround himself with. I'd go so far to say he was great at finding brilliant people to trust. He's not anymore. That makes him just an idiot. We don't need an idiot being the leader of the free world.

If Trump cared about the destruction of anything, he'd have done something about it. Instead he pardons his buddy.

What did his administration do for the HBCU group? Sign the dotted line?

I don't really read the news as regurgitated by anything that has paid ads. Otherwise I might end up like you.

The cost of oil is complex. It is traded on the US dollar. When the US dollar is very strong (like it is right now) energy is cheap for us. Go buy it in Canada right now and tell me what it costs to fill your tank. Doesn't matter where it comes from, it's global. Oil prices being high is actually good for our country, as long as they aren't too high. I have spent a lot of time learning about oil, mostly because of of my friends picks where holes are poked in the earth for a living and he makes a fortune at it.

I think socialism is bad because people are bad. I'm more on the libertarian end of the spectrum.

Back in the day when Trump was on saturday night live he was funny and couldn't hold a note while singing but didn't mind making fun of himself and the people watching loved him.

Trump has only pardoned 11 people so far. I'd actually like to look up the people he has pardoned and see what crime they committed and the length of their sentence. There was a lady that was charged for drug trafficing for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. i thing she was given 20 some years and trump let her out.

Obama had given clemency and pardoned 1917 people during his time in office. Some that were really bad people including terrorists and one guy that I read about who was released and went over to his ex's place and killed her.
The HBCU's he gave money to help these people get an education that otherwise would not be able to afford to go to college.

He also did justice reform something that helps mostly black american men and women in prison. Which is something Obama had 8 years to do but didn't. He talked about it but never got it done.

I think right now a gallon of gas in canada is $ 4.59 a gallon. You need to remember why the gas is so much more that here. They tax everything extremely high over there. That's how they pay for all the social programs, healthcare being one of them.

You may not like Trump for the person he is but you do have to admit his policies have helped get our economy moving in the right direction from where it was headed under obama.
We see the direction we will be headed if Biden wins, which I can't see him winning. But the direction they want to go is complete opposite of Trump. One is all for bigger government and more control over the people and trump has said himself he wants smaller government and to give more power to the states.
We can look to every state that has a democrat controlled governor and mayor they are complete shithole places to live with the highest crime rates anywhere in the nation. If liberal democrats take control we could could see the entire country go in that direction.

How much of this shit do I have to google for you?

Ontario people pay an effective $1 CAD (right now, about $.70 US) for fuel tax on a US gallon. In Michigan we pay $.2590+$.184 * .06 (sales tax) of the effective cost of the fuel. So let's say $2.50 so that's another $.15. Or $.60/gallon in taxes.

So yeah, they're paying an extra $.10/gallon in taxes. So much more money.

If you look where the economy was heading... Trump inherited the perfect economy. He definitely got a raw deal on the COVID, but he also responded like an ignorant old man.

I dont have a problem with the president giving out pardons to people that he feels have been sentenced to harshly for the crime. Which happens plenty. Is there an abuse of this power? Sure thing and Barry is a prime example of that.
I have a brother that lives in Sarnia and the cost of gas is last time I talked to him was 1.05 per litre. There are 4 litres per gallon. He said during the corona shut down it got down to about .65 cents a litre

So what exactly did Roger Stone not do that warranted a pardon?

So which(s) one of our last president's pardons do you have a problem with? The goofball that thought it was a good idea to mutilate coins nearly 60 years ago?

Out of curiosity, do you understand exchange rates? Or basic economics?

It's closer to 3.75L per gallon and for a while now the CAD to US dollar exchange rate is between .68 and .75. $1.05 * 3.75 * .75 = $2.95. Lop off .10 for "excessive tax due to awful programs like national healthcare" and you're down to $2.85. Which is what gas has been going for near here.

Stone was arrested in the middle of the night by 29 swat agents in tactical gear for process crimes. Normally the prosecutor would call his lawyer and say hey we have a warrant for your arrest. Have your client come in. they did it this way to humiliate him. The judge and juror fore person did not give him a fair trial. Besides he is an old man with respritory issues. For him going to prison where they are letting prisoners out because of covid is crazy.
You might need to read up on the people that obama and clinton released during their time as president.
No I have no idea about exchange rates or economics. Maybe you can help me out?
High gas prices are only a small part of the cost of living there. Everything is expensive over there because of their social programs. As for their healthcare. Its not worth the cost if you get really sick. The elderly are affected the most because they are the ones that it hurts the most because of the long wait times.
Maybe you can explain to me the benefits of government run healthcare seeing is you're such an expert in all things great and small.

I couldn't find anything about 29 SWAT agents in a quick Google search, but OK. The guy was outspoken about the resisting the government and blah blah blah. Usually they send 10:1 for every arrest of anyone that might resist. It stops the fight or flight response because you're overwhelmed. My cousin participates in them often enough. I don't actually remember much about it except somehow CNN knew he was going to be arrested before he did.

Roger Stone is a piece that has been a piece for decades, it finally caught up with him.

Even the Nixon Foundation doesn't want anything to do with him:

I don't really care who anyone pardoned unless you can find an awful one.

The only thing that is expensive in Canada are vices. Everything else is about the same. You should try going there sometime. It's not that bad.

Canada's healthcare is fine. It isn't great for elective work but if something is wrong with you it is just fine. If you want elective work done, there is a wait list unless you want to pay for it out of pocket. It's basically like Medicare. If you want more than the minimums you have to pay extra. It would be expensive to have government/one payer healthcare in the US because americans are fat, lazy, and take no personal responsibility.

Since you hate government run healthcare, I expect you WILL NOT be participating in Medicare.

It would be expensive to have government/one payer healthcare in the US because americans are fat, lazy, and take no personal responsibility.

Since you hate government run healthcare, I expect you WILL NOT be participating in Medicare.
I just find it over the top going after a 67 year old man for process crimes. They couldn't find anything against him on the russia hoax. It was something to do with wikki leaks. They asked him where he got the info about some leaked emails and he said it was so and so. The muller team said it was a different guy and not the man you said. Stone might have gotten confused or forgot who he spoke with. Not a big deal really. And something else about threatening his friend in a joking manner about his dog or something.
Muller and his team tried to get Stone to give up dirt on Trump. Stone didn't have anything to give. So muller made up some crap to send the old man to jail for 40 months. We need to remember that muller himself came up with nothing on collusion with russia and trump. So any charges against anyone involved had nothing to do with it. But unrelated petty crap.
I do remember about that Manning guy who thinks of himself as a woman now. He calls himself Chelsea Manning. which was serving a 35 year sentence. Good men died looking for him. This is one of the awful pardons.
Yes, booze and tobacco is crazy expensive. I don't smoke but I remember my mom telling me that dad would spend more than a $100.00 a week on a carton of cigs. My mother lives outside windsor and I do visit. I haven't since last february since the border is closed because of corona. My mother has had to bear with the medical system over there for the past year due to lung cancer. And the treatment is nothing like here. She's alive because of her treatment which is great. I have visited a few hospitals over there and they are like out of the 50's. The older hospitals don't get the upkeep needed and the some of the staff really dont have their heart in their job. Check out some of the reviews from different hospitals over there. It gives you a look into just how terrible they can be. Some people get great care but more do not. Over there you get in line and wait your turn. I have never heard of paying more for better treatment. When people get real sick they come to America to get help and they pay out of pocket here. I could see government run healthcare over here bankrupting us as a nation. That would drive up the cost of everything by 30% or more. Medicare here is by far better than the whole healthcare system over there. Wait times are terrible. My brother needed an MRI and waited 2 months. Trust me with our population you wouldn't want government run healthcare. Many would die before they receive help.
